Summer is here and it’s time for fun! From June 4 to Aug 16, you will have the chance to search the Main St businesses for clues to win the Grand Prize and gift certificates from our awesome vendors!
TO PARTICIPATE SIGN YOUR TEAM (PRICES ARE PER TEAM) UP FOR A DAY AND TIME YOU WOULD LIKE TO TRY THE ADVENTURE. YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR PACK AT EITHER JEROME LIBRARY OR KACHALE THIFT STORE (210 E MAIN ST). ONCE YOU HAVE PICKED UP YOUR PACK, BEGIN YOUR ADVENTURE AND RETURN YOUR PACK TO YOUR PICK UP LOCATION WHEN YOUR FINISHED.
The amount of time seems to vary by the team. On average the Adult/Teenager Routes take between 1.5-3 hours if they are making a good pace it could be shorter. The shorter family routes can take between a 1/2-2 hours depending on how slow they decide to go.
The whole challenge for the Adult/Teenage route consists of two parts. Part 1 involves the businesses and buildings on the Northside of Main St. Part 2 involves the businesses and buildings on the Southside of Main St.
For the family/senior routes, we cut these down to make it easier for families to do. These can be found in 4 parts. The 1st and 2nd are Part 1 and the 3rd and 4th are Part 2.

Once you pick up your pack from the starting point, take a little time to explore what’s inside! You’ll find something special that will help you kick off your adventure. When you discover your starting location, you’ll get to open your journal, which is packed with details about the exciting puzzles ahead.
Each business you visit will have a single clue waiting for you to uncover. Once you find a clue, you’ll be ready to move on to the next spot! While you’re on your adventure, you’ll get to discover some amazing stories about Jerome’s history and learn quirky facts about its buildings and the wonderful people who have lived here over the years. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to chat with our friendly local shop owners and explore hidden gems in Jerome that you might not have seen before.
When you’ve collected all the clues, you’ll be able to put them together to solve the puzzle and carry on to the next challenge. If you ever need a little help, don’t worry! Your journal includes hints, and there’s even an online option if you encounter a closed business during your adventure. Once you’ve solved all the puzzles, just return your pack to the pick-up point. Have fun exploring!
Yes! The Jerome Historical Society provided photoes, books and newspapers so that you can learn all about the history of Jerome. All the stories and pictures are true and about the town and it’s people. For more information, drop by the Historical Musuem at 212 E 1st St (Tues-Sat 1pm-5pm) or the Jerome Library that has a section on local history.
